Youth Fitness Program
Offered at summer camps, after-school and before-school programs, and recreational centers, this program helps kids associate health and fitness with fun and friendship. Interactive games and exercises get kids moving, socializing, and practicing great teamwork. Activities are offered for all fitness levels.
Contract Better Bodies 4 Us to provide physical education at your private or charter school. Multiple studies have proven that adequate exercise improves children’s cognitive abilities and academic performance. A contracted physical education teacher is the most cost-effective way to have a physical education program at your school.
Get an up-close-and-personal reading from B3 Goes to the Playground along with some fun and games from the book. (You didn’t think you were going to sit down for the whole thing, did you?)
Family Fun Health
& Fitness Nights
This one-hour program educates parents and their children about the importance of physical activity and changing eating habits. A Q&A session gives both the parents and children a chance to ask questions regarding what they may or may not be doing currently. After the discussion, parents and students move to the gym to exercise together in dance, aerobic fitness, or obstacle course stations.
Training programs are available for lead teachers, assistant teachers, and staff of after-school and before-school programs that help them experience, first hand, how to quickly engage students. This program implements activities that require little to no equipment in a fun and noncompetitive environment. Participants are involved in a true warm-up, activity of the day, and cool down to better understand how to connect with their students.
Hello! I’m Charleszetta Smith Ford.
Thanks for visiting my website.
I am a high-energy licensed physical education teacher, certified personal trainer, and author with over sixteen years of experience in the health and fitness field. After working in public schools for six years, I realized that the only way I could create an environment where students could have fun while exercising in a structured manner was to design my own large-scale youth-fitness program. I took a leap of faith and launched Better Bodies 4 Us in 2011.
Each week, I visit a different elementary school to implement my Youth Fitness program. Seeing my students’ excitement to exercise with me brings such joy to my heart and confirms, daily, that I am doing exactly what God has called me to do—changing lives one day at a time, physically, mentally, and spiritually. My love for encouraging children to move motivated me to write my first book, B3 Goes to the Playground, last year. It is my hope that many children and families, near and far, will be motivated to exercise and enrich their lives together.
